An old knife with new clothes ...
An old knife with new clothes ...: "
Wasn't sure whether this should go in Production knives or Member's projects but I think it fits best here :)
Some of you might remember the discussion last year about replacement scales for UKPKs and the lack of people actually willing to do the work. At the time Steve (wolf67) got in touch with me and offered to give it a go. The following photos are the results of Steve's hard work and I am really chuffed at how it all came out:
The CF blanks were purchased from Brisa (thanks Dennis!) - it was my choice of colour - some may hate it but I like it :D After discussing the project with Steve we decided to go without a pocket clip, to keep it simple, but Steve assures me that this is possible to do. Personally, I am happy without the clip because I think that it would spoil the lines and block one of the scales a bit.
Anyway, many thanks Steve - looks like you're going to get a few requests for scales in the coming weeks! ;)
