Vorab



1. Nö, keine Ahnung, was das für ein Damast ist, ist mir egal ;)

2. Jupp, der Griff schiebt sich beim Öffnen zusammen, beim Schließen wird er wieder länger :D

3. Ja, es schneidet. Vermutlich :irre:

4. Verschluss: Backlock - quasi. Wird über den grooooooooßen Hebel enthebelt :)

5. Safety: der kleine Knubbelhebel auf der rechten Seite verriegelt das Messer

Relic Friction Folder

Relic Friction Folder:

Hi all, just finished this one. I've had the idea for a one handled friction folder in my head for a while now and finally decided to see what it would look like made. The right handle is cable damascus, the left "bolster" is textured copper, copper bar on the cable slab as well. The blade is clay hardened 1080, interupted quench in water then oil. Overall length is 5 11/16" with a 2 1/2" blade, and 3 5/8" closed. What do you guys think?

Got the Kershaw RJ-I:

I'm not real crazy about tanto blades, but something about this knife made me want one. I guess I pre-ordered it a couple 2 or 3 months ago (I can't remember) and I was surprised to get an email saying that it had shipped. Not to bad for $28.95...



3.5" blade, Speedsafe with flipper, G10 scales.
