I have this knife coming from Nathawut in a just a few days. This project has taken a lot of time and effort from Nath, and the end product is just amazing!
First off, I wanted to have what would be as close as possible, an exact replica of what a Mini HD-7 would be if this model existed. And I should not, if you take a good look, a HD-7 has a different blade shape and handle shape to the CQC-7. The HD-7 has a slighly wider blade than the blade of the CQC-7, and also, the handle of the HD-7 has is a bit more contoured. So simply making a framelocked Mini CQC-7 will not give you the feel of a smaller HD-7.
After a lot of back and forth communication with Nath, quite a bit of handle modification, and finally stonewashing the parts, Nath came up with this. The only thing that wouldn't be on an Emerson would be the backspacer, which in this style, I just love and had to have it. All hardware has been satin finished as well.
BTW, there is actually a slight flaw on the knife. Can you see it?
